The engines in the MB 350 CDi are great...the problems are everything else. MB has some serious quality problems w/ electronics and such. Keep in mind these are pretty high end cars and have lots of gadgets (like the TL). I could not/would not stand to have a car that had a great engine, but everything else is broken.That was my point. Another fav of mine is the BMW 330d. That's another car I would love to have. I'm in love w/ diesels. I think they are great...and something about their smell actually attracts me to them. The smell does not bother me one bit.One day, we will have Europe's diesels. I want one. I'd be first in line for one if they came over here.
