I bought my 02 hondaaccord se in may of 2004 with 44,XXX miles on it for 14k. Since then it has been a great car. But now the transmission problems are giving me the chills. Just picked my car up from the mechanic today and I got quoted $1,200 to replace the burnt clutch pad material for 2nd gear. and plus, I'm due for the timing belt service. So basically I have to fork over 2 grand to keep it running. Vehicle now has over 100,000 miles.
So I'm gona plan to sell this car by the end of this month and replace it with a subaru. But never once it broke down on me, started every time. Overall it was a very satisfying car. Not bad for my first car. I'm gona miss this sucker.
