Sorry, but NOBODY fixes electronics at dealerships or at repair shops. If a door lock regular stops working, you replace it. If a window regular stops working, you replace it. So, if an ECU stops working, you replace it. If a radio stops working, YOU REPLACE IT. Automotive technicians have never worked on electronics, only used them to diagnose things. They probably will never work on electronics because they do not have the facilities.
People have been paying for this stuff for YEARS on Audi's, BMW's, Mercedes, JAGUAR, now Infinity (G35) and Honda are thrown into the mix. It's nothing new. You hear something really scary? GM electronically controlled suspension.
If you would like something else to blame on Honda, go to OdyClub.com and see their issues. Moaning brakes, transmissions, and power steering pumps going every few months, not to mention the plethora of rattles and the guy from the East Coast that had his almost $40K Touring die...IN CANADA (he left it there, AHM and Honda Canada are duking it out on who should cover it). Then go drive your Accord and be thankful.
