The dealers that are into "HIGH END" Used are cleaning up. They buy average to clean used and put real shiny tire dressing on them. Then sell to the people that have under 500 beacon scores. They don't car how good their Benz looks because they are so wrapped up with their status to careuntil it breaks...then they cannot fix due to money.... then it gets repo'd and the cycle starts over...
I would "NEVER" buy a car without seeing. Air bag deployment is a major issue. Usually means Bumper,Hood, core support and possible fenders.
Certified = no more than 2 panels replaced. Bumper & Hood/Fender & Door etc. That's a Honda rule I believe.
The biggest issue I see with lease returns coming back is Refinish Quality. Body repair shops really struggle to get one close to average.
