IN NYC afford such a good price
Permalink

Hmm. An '06 Sedan for $16,800 is tempting.

49K miles is a lot for an '06 Coupe, but
$16,870 makes up for it.

CPO Coupe for
$18,595. That's about the cheapest CPO 6MT Coupe I've seen. How does a dealer IN NYC afford such a good price? It must be astronomically expensive for a dealer to operate in the city.

I've been tracking prices since last September and have seen a huge shift from the low $20k's down to under $19k. This seems to be a bit more than your average $2k/yr loss on an average used vehicle.

That NYC car was $20,995 on 9/20/07. Autotrader's AT-DFE32BC went from $18,450 on 11/29/07 to $16,990 today. AT-D53E098 was $21,000 on 9/18/07 and $18,000 today. And those are asking prices. Since the seller has been trying to sell them for 4 months I'm sure they'd be open to lower offers.

I'm guessing it is a combination of the '08 Accord rollout, a slowing economy and high gas prices. No matter what the reason, around $17k for a low-miles '06 6MT Coupe is pretty incredible!
