I chose a four channel amp and self amplified sub for my needs. The sub is easily and quickly removed when I need the space. The JL Audio Cleansweep is behind the dash. I also chose professional installation for everything, I'm not handy with that type work. See the silver knob below the emergency brake? That is your new volume control with the Cleansweep. It works perfectly for me there but you can put it wherever you wish. The Cleansweep will also allow you an auxillary input for MP3 players or whatever. I'm just a radio/CD guy so I did not use that portion of it. The black control is for the Bazooka sub. Now that the Bazooka is broken in it gives me exactly the bass I wanted but the control itself is useless. Once it is set there's no reason to change it. All settings can be done on the Bazooka without the remote.
