"defend" the company
Permalink

You REALLY got a crappy dealer there!!! Please let us know which one it is so we can all avoid them!!

They're SUPPOSED to check al the connections to make sure nothing has come loose....& check the continuity with a tool like this....(see picture) & if nothing is wrong then the unit is faulty & is to be replaced. There's not much diagnosis, but there is some!

Please find another dealer!!! You've got an extremely lazy one there!!

04blkpearlcoupe, now THATS a sensible idea! It may light a fire under their butt!! thumbsup.gif

accordexlv6, I don't think it's the idea of Honda being attacked.... SOME of the comments got a bit personal... as if the ones that choose to "defend" the company when we see it as a dealer problem at this stage (since some are getting something done) must be brainless wonders that just blindly will see no faults in the company. Which has been clearly said that we know the faults...we just apparently agreeing on the solution.

We agree SOME of the headunits are faulty.
We agree that Honda should do SOMETHING else for the customers.

We don't agree on what the responsibilty is at this point.

So on that we'll agree to disagree.

Anyone that is having ANY out of warranty issues should FAX, call & write the corp. offices!!! Never assume the dealer is passing on the complaint!! I don't trust them to.... & I'm considered a "fan"!!
