Hondas for a lower price
Permalink

I'm really appalled at this thread, honestly.

mpopeskov, unless you have some news for us, stop arguing. It's not getting you a free radio. If you have so much time to bitch about it, I suggest you sit down and take your radio apart. I did mine in less time than you took posting all that. It is NOT hard, it is definitely NOT SEALED. How do I know? I'VE DONE IT (unlike some people who prefer to complain and not get **** done).

As for the rest of you complaining about this. If you don't want to buy another Honda, don't buy it. I'm not forcing you to buy anything! Please, go buy a Durango. Buy another Ford Focus. Buy a GM truck. When all is said and done, it just means that I get my favorite Hondas for a lower price, and their quality will be the same as always. So just like the paint thread, the moral is, if you're going to not buy a Honda because of a light, then don't. It's not the principle, it's not the dealer. It's just that simple: don't like it, don't buy it. Honda won't miss you, I promise.

People always find something to complain about. You want Mercedes to produce the best SUV on the market for 35K (1998 ML320). Then you complain when it rattles. You want Toyota to give you NAV, then you complain when it doesn't work as well as a Honda. When you buy a Honda, a frikkin light bulb goes out and all you have to say is they better fix it instead of trying it yourself. Then you buy a Durango and the wheel falls off, or an Explorer and the tire explodes and throws your toddler 50 feet onto the highway below the overpass you're on. Yes it's happened. Then the stupid $300 radio becomes more reasonable, doesn't it?
