I'm comparing what I have & what I've raced in similar conditions (About 600 below sea level). My numbers are not magazine numbers; they are actual times down an NHRA drag strip. The 5-speed manual K24 will toast an automatic K24 across the board and through the ¼ mile by about 3 car lengths. The automatic J30 will run away from the 5-speed manual K24 after the first three car lengths and probably by about 5 car lengths in the ¼ mile.Im sure the J30 6-speed will run a little faster to the 60 mark than the J30 automatic or the K24 manual 5-speed. The limitation is wheel hop / traction. After the first 60, the J30 6-speed will most likely run away and hide from the J30 automatic to the tune of about 3-4 car lengths. Take away the wheel hop / traction limitation and the J30 6-speed Accord in a high 13 second ¼ car.
