The accord has an Inline 4 (I4), not a V4. The overwhelming majority of 4 cylinder engines in use today in cars are I4s. I actually can't recall one on my own that isn't. You will get a lot of flack for mixing up terminology. I think some 4 cylinder motorcycle engines are arranged in a v pattern, though I don't know for sure.
