How many miles does a full tank usually give? I reset the counter and filled up my tank and I usually get about 280-300 miles per tank (mainly driving in city). I wasn't very impressed with the number. I expected it to be higher with the addition of the VCM and supposedly improved gas efficiency. My tank has 18.5 gallons and the light comes on when I have 2 gallons left. I know because I would fill it up immediately after the light came on and the pump said I paid for 16.5 gallons.
