Trip, my experience was the same as yours. The first time my fuel light came on in my '08 Accord V6 I waited, presuming that it would be similar to my '01 Accord. When I finally filled up it took 18.1 gallons. I won't be doing that again! The second time the light came on I got gas within 10 miles and it took 17.1 gallons. '08 Accord owners certainly need to be aware of this.
