The fuel gauge calibration on my 08 Accord seems to function exactly like the one on my wife's 01 PT Cruiser and my 06 Corvette. Seems to move slowly for the first half a tank, than the last half moves much faster.
I've noticed this on almost every car I have ever driven (many rentals due to business trips). So I'd say Honda is no different than the vast majority of manufactures calibrations.
