Thanks for the car-buying tips! I already bought mine, though, so I'll have to remember this for the next one. Who knows when that will be, since this car will undoubtedly last a lifetime! I got my 07 LX sedan 4 cyl. in September last year for about $20k. I figure that wasn't too bad for my first new car purchase.
I'm kind of wishing I had traded in my truck. I thought I could sell it privately since it has such low milage and it is in good condition, but the market is slow for large vehicles right now. I'm thinking about taking it to Carmax and just taking the low amount that the dealer would have given me for trade-in. I want to get rid of it before the insurance is up at the end of this month (in CA, registration is canceled automatically if insurance is not paid).
