Look at the display and see if the word "Category" is lit. If so, then you need to press and hold the "RPT. DISP Mode" button (it's either that or "A.SEL RDM" button) until you hear a beep. Then you'll eventually see "CH" light up. Once you've done that, you whould be able to tune to channel 0 by using the "Tune" button.
