I purchased a 2005Accord with factory XM and no navigation. When I press the XM button it goes to XM1-1 Channel 174 and plays the previews as well as telling me to go to channel 0 to get the code and activate. I cannot tune to 0 with either the seek, scan, or tune buttons. If I press the XM button again it goes to XM2 Emergencey Alert Channel 247. I have been to three dealers and they do not have a clue how to activate. I also called XM and the Honda 1-800 number and they do not know what to do. On one of the forums I saw that manual tuning mode was suggested but I do not know how to make that happen. The dealership will replace the radio under warranty but I hate to have them tear into the dash unless I have exhausted other methods. I would appreciate any suggestions.
