I've finally kept a job long enough, saved enough money and haven't had one ticket this year so my Parents are going to help me buy my first car of my own (they'll finance it). I'm looking into a Cert. Pre-Owned 7th gen Sedan EX or better. I need my sunroof . I currently drive a 96' LX with 103.6k that has been babied like there was no tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I could get some good money if I sold it myself. (On Craigslist)
So here's my question. I want 4cyl 5spd Accord 2003 or better, and I pretty much know these cars up and down as my dad had an 03' EX for awhile, but I wanted to know from those with higher-mileage ones (upwards of 75k I suppose) what major things have gone out on you? I also wanted to know how long the average life of a clutch is on the newer Accords, and if anyones' had to replace one yet.
