I bought my 2004Accord from Honda Cars of Boston and it was a mixed experience. The basic price negotation for the car was OK, but they tried to get way too much for the extended warranty and told me with a wink and a nod that the discounts on accessories were a special deal for me because Honda doesn't let dealers discount accessories. I try to not let the lies get to me if the overall deal is OK, but I don't enjoy it. I bought there rather than shopping around more because it was an unusual deal on a CPO car, 3 months in service with 12K miles, scrubbing a few grand off the new price and having a better than new car warranty.
The service department has been OK after the first fiasco (bad installation of rear spoiler). They did fixed it properly - but that was after I went over the installation instructions point by point with the service manager and showed him all the things that were done wrong. I give the service manager credit for fixing it right and throwing in a little bonus for my trouble, but they never should have let the work out of the shop in the first place. They also didn't put the door edge guard on the rear drivers side on quite right , and it scraped the door frame paint.
