The service was so great at my local shop that I just had to share my experience. A little bit a background on me, I bought an 03' Accord USED with 72,000 from a private party.
Thus far this dealership has worked with me to replace my radio for free and give me free parts on the headliner replacement from the water damage. They have always been upfront and honest with me, and one of the techs even came over to my home to help me diagnose a problem one day.
Lately I have been having clicking noises in my right wheel when it is cold. They took the car in and did some cleaning off of rust and thought they fixed it. Well, it was still happening so they gave me a free loaner car to diagnose it again. Well, it turned out to be the right CV joint that needed a full replacement. Eric, the tech I have been working with, called me up and gave me this bad news, but there was good news as well. He said that there is no reason for a CV joint to go on a 2003 car. Because of this he called Honda's corp number and got them to pay for half and charge me cost for the other half. All in all I'm getting my right CV joint replaced for a total of 160 dollars.
On one hand, I am very disappointed in my particular car. I've had 2 vtec oil switches replaced, the right CV joint, the headliner and the radio. When it gets warmer outside the clutch starts to click so I will need to get that replaced as well. The reliable Honda spirit seems to be missing in my current car.
On the other hand, David Hobbs has treated me so well I just blame this on the car and not the company itself. Honda has really treated me very well and I'm very happy with their service. I will definately continue doing business with David Hobbs as they are the pinnicle of customer service.
