I was able to track down a authentic MTEC h11 6000k kit through a friend of a friend for 135$ shipped...usually they retail online for 250$+ ...
the real key is finding a kit the was actually MIJ (Made In Japan) or Hong Kong... China made kits seem prone to more failure in the ballast/rebasing but don't take my word as being fact by any means. If you don't mind rolling the dice and just want the cheapest of the cheap, go right ahead..at the prices they're at, you can just buy another kit and still have spent less than what McCulloch or MTEC , etc etc kits go for but you can't get too pissed if the arc/bulb output starts flickering , or a weak light creeps up on you after a month or so of use...
