Rear 6x9 Instructions/Recommendations (long)

Ok, I know this has been beaten to death in the forums but I just wanted to clear a few things up before I possible start looking into dismantling part of my baby again...lol.

For upgrading the rear 6x9 speakers, what are the steps involved? I figure they are screwed in from inside the car, so I have to get the caulings off the speakers...Do I pry these off or is there something else I need to do?

Second, I figure the OEM speakers (and hopefully aftermarket ones) are just plug and play in design. Do I need to cut any wires or solder anything or is just to unplug the old, plug in the new (assuming it all fits)?

Lastly, I want to buy my speakers from either the Canadian Futureshop or Canadian Best Buy. My reasoning is I want to be able to take them back and return my car to stock if something doesn't "smell right" during the install or if I run into any problems in the first 30 days (both stores have a no questions asked policy for 30 days). I don't know much about speakers, so if someone could explain exactly what to look for in buying replacements it would be great (since I don't know the dif between 2 way, 3 way and 4 way, different materials, etc). If it helps I listen to a wide range of music, from rock, to pop, to rap, to trance/dance/club. I guess my main priorities in upgrading is to get a clearner sound, with a cleaner/tighter but louder bass response.

Anyhow, here are the links to both store's 6x9 selection. As far as price goes I guess you could say I am looking approximately in the 70-160 range (assuming it includes 2 of them). There are a set of Pioneers on sale at Futureshop for 79.99 that look tempting, but I'm willing to wait this one out a number of months in case any of the others do come on sale (even the really expensive Infiniti's but they would have to drop a lot).

Futureshop.ca:

Bestbuy.ca: http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/subcla...EN&catid=20116

Again I want to learn here so if you let me know which you would choose please let me know your reasons why (teach a man to fish rather than give a man a fish...lol).

Thanks in advance.
