i have a single 12" JL w6 with a planet audio 1250.1 amp, it pushes 700 rms which is about the max for the w6 so it wont blow....It pounds if needed, but here is the thing...
do you want subs that are actually going to sound good and hit alot of notes, or do you just want to be able to shake the cars withing 30 feet of you?
if is sounds get a nice sub, its well worth the money...i went from 2 12" mtx thunder 5500's to this single w6 and it hits harder but sounds 10x cleaner and hits notes i never knew existed haha
