i would have some one there that has done it before to help guide you.but it is easy if you know how to take the dash apart to get to the deck, and if you know how to splice wires together.i normally solder them, and use the shrink tube thinks instead of electrical tape.but if you get lost, you can always pay an installer to just do the wiring harness, and do the rest yourself.but once you get the above taken care of, the only thing you have to worry about is mounting the deck, they normally come with a rectangle sleeve the deck fits in to. mounting the sleeve can be difficult depending on the car.mine was hard, but i think a install kit would have made it easier...if you still need help, i will go buy a install kit and re-mount mine and take some pics, since i want to do that anyway.
