Honda is not the manufacturer of many things in the car.But they sell it together as a complete package, which means they should be responsible for making sure that it works properly for you. YOU do not buy the radio from Alpine, Panasonic or Sony. You buy it as part of a car from Honda.Microsoft makes the Windows OS. IBM, Dell, HP and others sell computers preloaded with Microsoft Windows. Unless you have a service agreement (i.e. you are a corporate customer and have a service contract for your enterprise) If you call Microsoft for tech support they will tell you point blank to call the manufacturer of your PC for tech support.If you bought the car and the radio separately I would fully expect Honda to tell you to sod off if you have a problem with the radio. But you buy the radio as part of a package. They should take care of it. Quality control issues from THEIR supplier are not YOUR problem. It's their problem. They are buying manufactured goods, repackaging, integrating and reselling to you. They are fully responsible for quality control issues.
