Sure, stuff breaks. But if stuff breaks consistently at around the same time under the same conditions it's a design flaw. It means that the car was poorly manufactured from the start, and that it had this problem that would show up sooner or later. And we're not even talking about moving parts here - it's solid state electronics. Supposedly designed to last a really long time.
