Count me among one of those who doesn't really like the 8th gen. I've said it before, but it has nothing to do with jealousy even though that idea has been used as a tool to disregard my opinion on a couple of occasions in the past. The styling, especially on the sedan, leaves a lot to be desired imo. The coupe is nice, but still not quite right in my eye. The overall interior design, mainly the dash, is just cluttered looking. Aside from that, I just don't like the idea of a progressively larger, more powerful fwd car w/ an open differential. I doubt I'll be buying a honda so long as they insist on sticking w/ fwd, but still bumping up the hp, and the only AWD options don't come with a clutch pedal. So lets say at the very least 5 years, like steven said. But even in 5 years I really don't expect them to change direction in a way that is to my liking.
