...believe it or not, there are quite a few who actually like the 7th gen, so with your comment you just keep the 'spats' going. As I stated, styling preferences are very personal, and personally, I don't care for the 8th gen sedan, it's actually the first Accord that I can honestly say has no compelling reasons to attract my interest, all other gens were cars that kept me wanting an Accord at some point. We all know how you feel, you are a 100% happy camper and I'm very pleased for you, but just because you are so ecstatic about the 8th gen doesn't mean its a given for all the rest of us. Go enjoy, be happy, but don't keep knocking the others who actually prefer their 'old', and obviously in your opinion, 'ugly', 7th gen Accords. As I alluded to in my original post, the 08 Accord isn't the only new car out there I don't care for, I wasn't even specifically aiming at the new Accord, but commenting on how I view the current styling trends in general. The fact many of those trends have shown up on new Hondas is what I find dismaying, some feel Honda has lost 'their way' in terms of original styling, not just the Accord, but in general, and that was my main point, it wasn't to 'attack' 8th gen lovers......anyway, cheers and have a merry Christmas, and truly enjoy your new Accord, I'm really glad you like it...
