1991 CRX Si (Dad's last Honda. One of last sent over before del Sol took over. Most fun Honda by far. Awesome and just plain cool to drive and be seen in. Looked like a little black rollerskate. Broken into twice, but put back whole each time. Dad sold it with 21K miles in 1998 when he retired. It was as perfect as could be. He seriously regrets not keeping that car down here in Florida as a 3rd car. My mom could never drive a stick, but even she loved that little rocket as a passenger). In 1989 I bought a Nissan Maxima: best car overall in every way, including reliability and quality I have ever owned. Made me completely forget Honda. Subsequent Nissans (as a married man): 2 Maximas, 2 Altima GLEs, a Quest GLE, and our current Pathfinder LE have been terrific all around. Nissan quality definitely dropped (our Pathy does not have Ghosn's cost-cutting fingerprints on it) after 2002, but I would never hesitate to buy an Infiniti (built in Japan). Nissan has been very good to us thus far.In fact, I will more than likely replace our Accord with a G35/G37/EX35/M35 when the time comes. I want a mid-size, not full-size, with RWD and the most power I can get. I'd consider a TL, but Honda will just stick with FWD and I really like the bettter balance a RWD offers. Actually, I wish Nissan would rebody a G35/37 and sell it through Nissan and replace the current oversized Maxima with it. 4DSC Maxima, anyone? From my lips to God's ears!Growing up in the 70s and 80s, my parents always had GM cars. My dad's brother was an engineer for GM's Fisher Body division. Some were really nice, a few were real clunkers.
