IMA does provide torque to maintain VCM but what you take away you have to put back and IMA gives away what it can very very quickly At 80 +, you will be lucky to see VCM on a downhill only. Once on all 6, the AH consumes as much fuel as the std. V6. Possibly even more given the extra weight.
