For what XM will continue to cost, I decided I'd rather add an auxillary input and use either an inexpensive MP3 player, or my Dell Axim in my '06 EX-L (non-Nav).
I've been monitoring all the "Aux Input" posts, and doing other research, and they seem to offer the same feature - basically, unplug XM, and plug-in the adapter.
But if they truly offer the same feature, why is one $80, one $85, and the other $100?
The Blitzsafe model can be had for around $80 here The PIE model can be had for around $85 here, And Soundgate's is around $100 here.
I know, with PIE, I can add an "X3" to gain additional audio inputs, so I could maintain XM, and still gain a couple inputs - or I could install a "Y" cable, and a switch, as explained here
Is any one particularly better than the other? Is there any significant difference between them? What experience(s) do you all have with these?
