So on my son's Civic, I put the 3-ton hydraulic jack about 6 inches behind the front "notch" on the body edge and jack the whole side up. On the Accord, it makes me too nervous to use 1 spot to jack the whole side up, as the body flexes just a bit too much for my taste. Sometimes you can find a spot on the pseudo-frame just behind the body weld seam, but it's not really meant to support the "balanced" weight of the car.
I've found that 2 hydraulic jacks, or 1 hydraulic and the stock scissors jack is appropriate for jacking the whole side of the Accord into the air - flex isn't there and it's a bit more stable. You can use the cradle of the hydraulic jack right on the body weld seam edge, as long as you put part of it on the jack point, and don't let the car roll front to back to put undue pressure on the body seam itself. Only time I ever had that seam bend is on an '83 Z28. Never on a Honda or anything else.
2 jacks on the Accord is the best way. Trust me - I'm lazy by nature, and if I could have gotten it in the air safely with 1, I'd have done it.
