Getting back to the point of the thread... Sometimes plastics will warp like this, and they do it pretty quickly. I know the plastic on the steering column cover on my '06 pilot warped on one side right after I took delivery - will get to having it replaced at some point, I figure. In the case of the cowl cover, just get a replacement (pretty easy/low impact to replace) and it's likely it'll be fine and never warp again.......
