I researched buying a Subaru WRX back in September but I couldn't uncover any glaring skeletons in Subaru's closet other than with heavily modified cars (of which there were many). I ran into lots of satisfied hi-mile Subie owners. Plus Subaru gets very high reliability ratings from all the usual sources. Got any specifics, and were your friends cars unmodified? Just curious, not trying to carry the Subie banner or anything....
