Psy's subsequent responses
Permalink

This is nuts. What a tense thread. If everyone thinks Accordlover is a "kid" then cut him some slack. Maybe he could have articulated it better but he was just trying to say there could be worse things wrong then rattles. The responses he got were pissy and border line catty tho I have to say Psy's subsequent responses (even tho he was the OP) were very even tempered. This is not to discount that different aspects of car ownership are or are not more important to different individuals, but this entire conversation could have taken a much more productive tone. And actually, I have to somewhat agree with Accordlover. After the nightmarish owner experience of my A4 and Passat, I'll take my buzzing rattling squeaking Accord interior because the rest of the car works so damn well and no one - NO ONE - in the class comes close to the Accord's well balanced package. Do the rattles drive me nuts? Ape sh*t is prolly a better word but I take a deep breath and keep it in perspective. There really are worse things that can go wrong. But if we're going to talk about the life threatenting A pillar buzz or the seizure inducing roof panel creak or the glove box jiggle that causes global warming, then let's talk about how they're designed and what Honda could be doing to fix them.

Curious, so has everyone that has a problem with these issues written a letter to Honda customer service to let them know? I have. I had a very nice conversation with the rep. I also made it a point to let them know what I do like about the car, too.
