In his case, maybe he feels he'd buy another if the QC on the new one was improved.I didn't care for the Civics b/c the ride comfort seemed rough, but I didn't abandon Hondas all together. I went with an Accord for the improved ride comfort (as well as much more).Bottom line is, QC on one specific vehicle may be excellent. Whereas, another of that same model might not be at the same level. Here's my personal experience: My '02 Yukon's motor was theoretically supposed to last beyond 200K miles. Well it didn't. My dad's '01 Yukon has surpassed the life of my '02... both having the same exact motor.
