There's two Honda dealers in my city. One - customer service isn't worth a corroded nickel. They act as if you owe them a favor for taking up their time. One sale guy had the audacity (sp?) to tell me that I was tight b/c I'm an engineer. I could've smacked the stupid smirk off his face. Instead, I told him that's why he's not at the top of his dealer's sales chart, and he's not getting a sale. Walked off, and banned my ENTIRE family from going to that dealer again. Most of my family are engineers, and took insult to that comment. We're just smarter about which jackazz to give our money to. This dealer's sales area isn't always packed, but service does move a bit of cars.
With that said, the second dealership is much more customer oriented. I told them, right off, what my feelings were about the other dealer that ticked me off. The GM there said that they hear that ALL the time from their counterpart dealer. Needless to say, this dealer got sales on an '06 Civic EX and two '07 Accord SE V6s within a year's time. This dealer's sales area is ALWAYS packed. Service Dept isn't bad tho.
As for quality of cars... (back on topic)... The Civics seem to be a bit rough around the edges. There's a good bit of road noise, exhaust noise, noticeable rattle at times, and stiffness in suspension. I wasn't too impressed with it, but I guess it'll do for high school or college kids. As for the Accords, I have NO complaints whatsoever with mine and my wife's. My wife's car has nearly 10K miles on it (90% hwy miles), and mine now has under 2K miles (and increasing 100 miles/day). Aside from the recent service bulletin, I have nothing negative to say about 'em.
