The quality of my 06 is just as good as my 95 was, and my friend's 89 before that. There are a few minor annoyance type issues that could potentially make honda lose customers if they get any worse, but mechanical quality seems to be as good as ever. The engines and drivetrain as a whole are as good as ever. There is definately some cheapening of honda products though as seen by the inclusion of macpherson struts on nearly all of their cars lately. Also, things like the window rattle issue (which accounts for nearly all of my rattles) and a few other minor rattles are symptoms of cost cutting. Currently, I like the accord, however if the minor issues are any worse in future cars then I'd probably start looking towards another manufacturer.
