Car sounds like it's in pretty good condition...especially finding one with no rattle is rare for a big empty box The jet kit, you'd have to ask princess for the jet kit recall and see if the VIN is within range. I think many 04's should already have them built into the tranny. If the VIN is within range of the recall, you can look on the fill plug and see whether it's been done. Usually mechanical type TSB's have an identifying mark, placing a punch/hole on top of one of the VIN numbers stamped on the firewall.I generally don't like fleet cars but this one sounds okay. And since it's from the pacific region, it probably hasn't been exposed to too much salt, so it should be ok. If there were maintenance records that would be awesome. You may also ask them to do a tranny flush for you, maybe use that as a bargaining chip.
