OMG, I cant believe this. The guy buys a new Accord and makes positive remarks on how he thinks of it as a luxury car. This is an Accord forum; you would think this is the right place to make such remarks. Yet he got flamed and was given a reality check on how his car is full of cheap plastics and all the bad things he will experience in the near future. Why do that to someone who just bought a new car and even said they (he and his wife) were excited about it? He even said his wife had been driving Volvos for more than two decades. Shouldnt he be greeted with more enthusiasm just for choosing an Accord?
I know that everybody is entitled to his/her opinion and some constructive criticism, but there are lots of threads about the likes and dislikes of the new Accord. The guy started a new thread about his excitement for buying a new car and how great he thinks it is. Whats wrong with that? Isnt that what the forum is all about? Constructive criticism would be if the guy was in the decision process, but the car is already purchased. Why kill his moment of joy? Its not everyday that you get to buy a new car and feel good about it. Why crush that good feeling? Dont people have ethics?
So the guy thinks the Accord is a luxury car. So what? So the guy compares it to BMWs and MBs. So what? Havent we all been there at one time or another?
If someone wants to compare an Accord to a Bentley, good for them. If anyone gets offended by that it should be Bentley owners and not Accord/Honda owners.
I would have expected that kind of reaction at another forum from owners of other makes/models, but not in this forum. An Accord owner flaming a new Accord owner for thinking his car is luxurious. Isnt that ironic? Dont you think?............
Is there some type of civil war or cold war going on in this forum? Is that why Steven has been testing all those Jet fighters lately?................
