Yeah, that doesn't seem to be common at all. I'm sure that we'd see it here if it was. I also don't think the transmission problem was terribly widespread either on the 7th gens, as I think we'd also be seeing more of it here. Although of the engine/transmission, I agree that the transmission is definitely the weaker link. Fortunately, Honda seems to think that their products should last for a pretty long time, so I'm hoping that they'll cover me if I do have any trouble. As far as the stalling, I know that GM has had some pretty similar issues with their 3100/3400/3800 V6 engines. They'd received a bunch of defective crankshaft position sensors. And it was on '01-'03 vehicles. Perhaps Honda was using the same supplier for those years. Although given how many Accords and CR-V's Honda sells every year, to only have a hundred with problems, it must be pretty isolated.As long as mine is good to me...
