vibrating brake pedal

Hey, Its a Great Car, Buy it!

I have a 2003 Accord LX 4 clyinder. Zero problems with the car except for warped front brake rotors at 7,500 miles and warped again after about another 10,000 miles. The dealer took care of the problem at 7,500 miles under warranty.

I took matters into my own hands this past weekend and installed new Raybestos STS slotted and drilled rotors and new Raybestos QS brake pads after putting up with the pedal vibration for about the last 15,000 miles. (I don't have a lot of time for dropping my Accord off to be worked on for a day).

I know the dealer would probably have taken care of it for me again, but I fully expected the rotors to warp again and really hate a vibrating brake pedal when I'm stopping. I understand that the newer 7th generations (2004+) do not have a ongoing brake rotor warping problem.

The good news is the pads had 25, 000 miles on them and appeared to have about 30% of the pad left on them, not bad.

Besides the new rotors will look real nice when I get those 18" wheels I've been looking at in comparision to the plain old OEM rotors... -g-
