new 2005 EX-L Sedan

I am totaly sold on my new 2005 EX-L Sedan with the I4. I have owned many Honda's and Toyota's over the years and found both to be terrific but the Honda's are more fun to drive. I lost my mind about a year ago and bought a 2004 Chevy Malibu Maxx LT V6. A decent car, but lousy gas mileage and not much fun to drive. Not sure what possessed me. I decided the day after Christmas to go look at Honda's again and went to Portland to look for a car. The Malibu was not yet in the Kelley Blue Book so the Honda dealer was not sure what to give me for it, but they were up for dealing as they wanted to sell 200 Honda's that month. They called a Chevy dealer and they said 16K (I paid 23K for it after rebates) for the trade. I told the Honda dealer I would not take anything below 20K and that the Chevy dealer was just low-balling the car so I couldn't buy the Honda. It took me three hours but the Honda dealer finally agreed to 20K for the Malibu and $800 over invoice for the Accord. Once the deal was done I sprinted from the dealer. On January 1 I looked up the Malibu on the KBB site and it was finally there--at $13.7K for trade-in value! The only thing I have found I don't like about the Accord is that there is a scratching noise that comes and goes from somewhere in the back. I will have to get my daughter to drive the car while I figure out where it is. Also, the stock speakers are not very good so I replaced them with aftermarket ones. Other than that, love the heated seats, leather interior, and fun to drive factor.
