2 were "problematic"

We've owned 4 acuras in the past, 2 were jewels, 2 were "problematic" - here's the line score:

-90 Acura Integra LS sedan, 5-speed manual tranny - car's differential connection to tranny ground itself to death at about 1000 miles - tranny replaced by Acura complete - apparently a "bad batch".
- 91 Acura Integra LS coupe, 4 speed auto tranny - never saw the dealer in 3 years except for routine maint.
- 93 Acura Legend L sedan - periodic shorting out of electrical system, somewhat correlated to water events. After 2.5 years of systematic debugging by dealer, found a missed weld in the A-pillar where the sunroof drained. Acura buyback
- 96 Acura RL Sedan - like a dream for 3 years.

As you can see, Acura stepped up with the 2 issue vehicles we had and helped us into another Acura. Our local dealer (sunnyside acura in Nashua NH) went above and beyond throughout. So they treated us with respect and dignity thumbsup.gif at all steps, and replaced anything that was amiss, no questions asked.

Then our family got bigger, and we hit the minivan route - now into Hondas over the Acuras thanks to college costs. paranoid.gif
