Sorry your are having this bad experiance. Unfortunetly you only test drove a malibu and haven't had one for miles. Good luck with that. My friend just bought a new malibu after I tried to convert him to Honda. He just went on a road trip and says the engine light came on/ the interior rattles and sqeaks. BTW, the malibu does not have HID and probably gets the same milage as the Accord. Same as the Camry. These are family sedans not luxury sedans, so you won't find HID (except on Altima but once you sit inside you notice the cheap plastics and requirement of premium fuel). Im sure you'll find many things wrong with your next car if you even notice how the windshield wipers make noise. (Aren't they suppose to make some sound?) Honda's idle smoothly so you should visit the dealer and have that checked out. Good luck with your car. I still however disagree that Domestics are equal to imports. They are still unreliable no matter what the ads detroit puts everywhere says. I always test drive the competition and it appears even Hyundai and Kia excel Chevrolet and Chrysler and the rest of GM. (Including Cadillac) That being said i'm waiting to see the next Acura TSX and Tl because I know that I won't find many features I want in family sedans. And a Navigation system is a must. If they aren't up to my expectations i'll look at the Hyundai Genesis, Honda Accord, Camry. I will never give money to GM so they keep making gas guzzling Hummers and nice designs with poor powertrains.
