I seriously doubt that battle will ever be won by either side. Personally, I think the whole "RWD is better than FWD" mantra has been pushed so hard by auto journalists that everybody automatically accepts it as gospel without ever having even tried both. Unless you want to start learning how to drift, I seriously doubt any of us will be able to push our cars to the very limits of their handling abilities to appreciate the advantages or disadvantages of either system.
As for whoever said that the TL (or TL-S) can't compete with other cars in it's class, (ie. A4, 3 series, G35, IS), there is much evidence that would suggest otherwise. C&D actually liked the TL better than the A4 in their last comparo and Road & Track preferred the TL-S over the G35. Furthermore, I found a thread over at ClubLexus a while back (Please don't ask me to find it.)that showed the results of a track competition between the IS350, TL-S and G35 driven by one professional Japanese driver. Guess which car won by a few seconds?!
