The 09 TSX is getting trashed on vtec.net for the base engine choice. It appears it's the same engine as the 08 Accord EX with some minor tweaks. The biggest tweak seems to be the inplementation of dual balance shafts and a direct ignition system. HP is 201 and TQ is 172. Not bad. With pricing most likley between 28-29k it would seem the new Accord V6 would be a better buy. I think Honda is holding back and will introduce a Type S TSX with AWD and the diesel next year. The rumor mill has said A-VTEC has issues and won't be released until 2010. I think A-VTEC has no issues and will be inplemented accross the Honda/Acura line in 2010 or so as part of a MMC. I see it in the CRV and Accord along with the diesel option. Give it a couple of years and we will see some new engine choices.
