Average person/buyer

Since Acura is in the process of going upscale, the pricing schemes make sense to me. They have to price the vehicles high enough so the average person/buyer cannot afford them. The Honda division sells more cars simply because it has affordable cars for the average person/buyer. If Acura wants to be an upscale division, they cannot have cars priced in the Honda range. Period. I see the new TSX and TL to be priced much higher because of this. Of course, it's still very important that they justify the high price tags with distinguishing high-end features and styling which will pull consumers in from other upscale brands (which they are working on, I think).
