Ya know... not to bash that "LEDs ROCK" for the best of the best upgrades (IMO), but...
It recently rained in my area of the country for two days, and rained HARD. Before hitting the major rain area, I got stuck behind two women driving an 03/05 & 06/07 model. For 3 miles, they played cat-n-mouse due to the slight rain. When it started to rain hardly (visibility virtually 20' in front of my car) both hit the brakes, and the one I saw better was the LED tails. It's little safety "improvements" like that that give me my "anal" reassurance that there's greater odds that someone will notice me braking sooner by SEEING the lights better than incandescent bulbs. Mind you, I own an '86 Silverado that I purchased NEW tails for (b/c they were faded), and the tails still aren't as bright in bad weather or even daylight conditions. I choose LEDs over incandescent any day.
As for dash trims... who's actually paying more attention to silver trim around a knob more than the road. I hadn't noticed much about my dash since I bought the first 07 last year. As for the gauge cluster, it's better than the GM vehicles AND Honda (94 Civic & 02 Accord SE) vehicles I've owned before.
