I has obviously been awhile since you have owned a GM if you are considering switching back. Besides the six speed issue, you could live with/ replace everything else you listed easily. My 99 Grand Prix leaked water through the cowl from day one. Dealer WOULD NOT repair.. had to fix myself. Suspension was garbage. Control arms, tie rods, struts all before 60k, I BABY my cars. Finally, after the "plentum gasket" blew twice. The tranny suffered a abrupt death at 66k. (New fluid every 15k since new.) Absolute CRAP. Heads up display unit dimmer would not work - 150 to fix.. and still had to remove dash myself. Radio died shortly before the tranny.. no display and no CD. Love your Honda, It only gets worse.
