Well, I think most would agree that buying a first model year car is going to be more prone to problems than later model years. But obviously that is not written in stone. I'm happy you have a first model year car with no problems. Truthfully, this problem for me was very minor. A simple O-ring. If the car was out of warranty it would have been a $35 fix out of pocket. It took them less than a half hour to replace the old one with the newly designed O-ring and to top off my power steering fluid. Not a big deal, and if this the only problem I ever have with my car, than I'll be real happy. Because thus far in nine months of ownership this IS the only problem I've had; no rattles, no shifting problems, no brake problems, no electrical problems etc. Just nine months of pure joy behind the wheel.
